Hearts to Trade: 2-True Colors{Aminri} The Bennington palace was as I had expected. It was tall and immense, much bigger than the Parsely manor. The floors and walls were all a polished white marble and there were stands holding vases of beautiful red roses aligned against the walls. The ceiling of the halls held beautiful crystal chandeliers with soft and warm flames at the hearth. I looked to my side and met my reflection. I was a terrible mess. My hair was disheveled, my skin was pale, and worst of all my clothes were wrinkled and untidy. I quickly fixed myself until Zane leaned closer to me and murmured, “This isn’t a beauty parlor. Through Marble eyesThe doll’s shiny black, marble eyes gleamed from the flickering embers born from the fire. It lay scrunched together in the arms of the small Alice. The Living ArtistAnguish-dictionary definition-agonizing physical or mental pain/torment. Apparently that’s what the grey/black sky felt, with the infinite tears falling as they ended in a serenade of droplets when they touched the ground.
